The 2025 edition introduced a children’s short film program. The program featured “All About Maple Syrup,” filmed at Peterborough Elementary School, followed by a hands-on microgreen fairy house activity. The children’s program ran from 12 to 1 p.m.

The evening feature was “The Jungle”, a documentary exploring the continued impacts of exploitation in America’s meat industry and how Indigenous knowledge may guide a more equitable food system. A community roundtable discussion followed the screening.
